If you’ve been looking for a brand new art gallery with brand new collections, this is just the place for you. Launched in as recent as March 2013, the Latin American Contemporary Art Projects Gallery (LaCa Gallery in short) is a one-of-a-kind initiative that features a unique type of art in its aim to start a whole new trend altogether.
Hoping to become “a premier resource” in the U.S., the LaCa Projects Gallery is located on Bryant Street, and features the works of contemporary Latin-American artists, most of whom are in the beginning or in the middle of their career. They do, however, feature the work of experienced artists as well, such as those of Rufino Tamayo, the Mexican modern artist with a 70-year-long and counting career span. The gallery also makes an initiative to encourage interaction between visitors and artists by including studios where the artists regularly come in and create their work on-the-spot.
